Big Bash: Exuberant Jehangir Lone pilots Hamid Brothers to semis

Baramulla, November 30: A scintillating display of batting by Jehangir Lone Tuesday handed Hamid Brothers an easy win against Sultan Warriors in the quarter-final of Big Bash tourney, here.

Batting first, Sultan Warriors put on a moderately total of 155 runs on board. Omar topped the batting table, scoring 36-ball 41 runs. For oppostion, Zahoor picked two wickets.

In reply, Jehangir Lone single-handedly turned the game in favour of Hamid Brothers. The right-handed batter struck some massive hits, leaving Sultania bowlers perplexed.

He ended up with 95 runs under his belt in 51 balls, ensuring Hamid Brothers post an easy win of 4 wickets with 2.3 overs to spare. For his top knock, he was awarded player of the match.
