Sopore, November 23: Baramulla Cricket Club (BCC) Reds Sunday pipped Victoria Baramulla by 3 wickets to emerge the winners of Champion of Champions Cup at Khushal Stadium, here.
Earlier, batting first, Victoria Baramulla made posted a par total of 147 runs on board. Basit Dar topped the batting charts with 50 runs under his belt. Mehraj Amin also struck fiery 27-ball 40 runs. For BCC, Zahoor picked a couple of wickets.
BCC Reds, in response, started well but falling of wickets on quick succession put them on backfoot. However, Zahoor Gojree kept his calm, making sure BCC reaches the total in the 20th over with 3 wickets in hand.
He made run-a-ball 41 runs. Apart from him, Nasir Ganai, yet again gave innings the finishing touch with his unbeaten 10-ball 28.
