‘Babaristan’ Stand Sold Out Ahead of Sixers Home Fixtures

In recognition of his massive fan following, the Sixers have introduced a special fan zone at the SCG named “Babaristan,” which will be featured at all Sydney home games this season.

Sydney Sixers General Manager Rachael Haynes welcomed the superstar, highlighting the unique energy his presence brings to the club.

“Babaristan will bring together passionate supporters in a high-energy, inclusive space. Whether you’re a die-hard Babar fan, a cricket lover, or just keen to experience the electric atmosphere of South Asian culture – this area is for you,” said Haynes.

She encouraged fans to secure their seats for the upcoming fixtures, adding:

“See you at the SCG on December 17th to give Babar a very warm Sydney welcome.”

The Babaristan stand for the December 17 home match has already sold out, though tickets remain available for other Sixers fixtures.

Shaheen was the No.1 draft pick in this year’s BBL draft, while Babar Azam was signed directly by the Sydney Sixers. Both arrivals have boosted anticipation around the league’s new season.

The Sixers also shared a teaser clip confirming Babar’s arrival, captioned simply:
“He’s arrived.”
