Srinagar, November 29: Downtown Heroes Sunday pipped DHFC to make it to the finals of ongoing Doon Cup, thanks to some superb display of play by Auqib.
The match began with both teams trying to dominate. However, the defense-skill of the respective sides made sure to keep the ball away from nets.
The teams though lastly scored a goal each, leaving the result of match to penalty-shootout.
Auqib, the goalkeeper, held his nerves in the shootout as he saved a couple of blinders, helping Downtown take a lead of 4-2.
With this win, the newly-formed Downtown Heroes Football Club made it to the finals of Doon Cup.
