Middle Order (Virat Kohli, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik)
After openers, the job is to be done by the middle-order. Usually, spinners bowl during this phase, so you need to a few good spin playing batsmen in the middle. They should both save wickets and score runs.
Firstly, number three plays the major role and here, we have Virat Kohli to do that job. He recently did well in England and has got the capability to do it over and again in any part of the world. He also is the right man to lead the side, owing to the record he owns as captain in ODI cricket.
Besides number three, posterior batsmen should also contain the innings whether be during batting first or while chasing a total. In the current scenario, Pakistan duo of Babar Azam and experienced campaigner Shoaib Malik are the best names that can do this job.
Babar has been exceptional for Pakistan while Malik has shown a lot of promise recently. Moreover, both of them play spin very well.
