Another defeat for J&K; suffer 4-0 thrashing vs Meghalaya 

Srinagar: J&K Junior football team suffered its second consecutive defeat in the ongoing Junior Boys’ National Football Championship for Dr. B. C. Roy Trophy 2023-24 on Friday.

In the match, J&K were outplayed by Meghalaya by 4-0 margin at OFA,7th Battalion, Odhissa. Pynshailang L Nonglait scored first goal for Meghalaya in 17th minute and in 40th minute Mebanlamlynti Masharing doubled the lead. At halftime Meghalaya were leading by 2-0.

In th second half, Samewon Khonglah scored third goal for Meghalaya in the 48th minute while as Alicestar Thangkhiew scored fourth goal in 68th minute.

Samewon Khonglah was awarded man of the match.
