All-Round Parvez Rasool powers Hamdan Hurricanes into Kashmir Cup 2025 final

Srinagar, October 17: Star all-rounder Parvez Rasool produced a brilliant all-round performance to guide Hamdan Hurricanes Cricket Club into the final of the Kashmir Cup 2025, defeating Sultan Warriors Sumerbugh in the semifinal clash played at TRC Ground, Srinagar.

Batting first, Sultan Warriors Sumerbugh posted 133/10 in 20 overs, with Ateeb Naqash (39) and Sarsheel (22) being the main contributors. For Hamdan Hurricanes, Parvez Rasool and Adil Dada shared the bowling honours, picking up three wickets each.

In reply, Hamdan Hurricanes chased down the target comfortably, reaching 134/3 in 17.3 overs. Imtiyaz (61 off 43) led the charge with a fluent half-century, while Parvez Rasool anchored the innings with a composed 36 off 36 balls*, including four boundaries.

For his match-winning all-round display, Parvez Rasool was rightly adjudged the Man of the Match.
