Imran Haji’s all-round brilliance on Friday led Bandipora Gymkhana to 22-run win over ACC Ashtangoo in the ongoing Banidpora Cup 3rd edition.
Batting first, Bandipora Gymkhana posted a competitive total of 144 runs on board with skipper Imran Haji leading from the front by scoring a 47-run knock. Adnan Tariq also made 34 while Shah Mansoor provided the finishing touch with 11-ball 21 runs. For ACC, Sr Lone picked up 4 wickets.
In reply, Gymkhana bowled out Ashtangoo on 122 runs to register a 22-run win. Sr Lone was the top scorer for them with 34 runs to his name. For Gymkhana, Imran, Mansoor and Aqib Bhat picked 2 wickets each.
Imran Haji for his 47 runs and 4-0-21-2 spell was named player of the match.
Bandipora Gymkhana is a cricket club by the youth, for the youth, launched to give the district’s young talent a platform to showcase their skills.
