All-round Faheem leads RCC Reds to finals

Sopore, July 26: Sheikh Faheem on Friday continued his fine touch, producing an all-round performance to help RCC Reds defeat North Club to make it to the finals of the ongoing tourney at Babagund, Sopore.

Batting first, North Club made average 144 runs in the allotted overs. Umer made 44 for them while Mehraj, Zubair and Faheem scalped a brace each for RCC.

In reply, Reds got off to a sparkling start with openers, Faheem and Umair hitting it all-around the park. The duo put on a mammoth partnership of 130 runs, helping RCC Reds cross the line with ease.

Faheem made 67 runs while Umair scored 51. Faheem for his all-round show bagged the man of the match award.
