In the ongoing Premier Division football league match at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground Srinagar match was played between J&K Bank XI and JK Power Development Corporation team (JKPDC) on Tuesday.
Right from the start, the forward lines of the two teams attacked each others goal posts regualarly. However, both the teams couldn’t score till the 38th minute.
The J&K Bank team stepped up attacks and took a lead in 38th minute of the match through Adnan.The first half which ended with 1-0 in favour of JK Bank Team. In 2nd half both the teams played attacking football and kept defence lines of the opposite teams under pressure as no team was ready to give an inch. Danish of JKBank team managed to send one shot into the goal post in the 50th minutes of the game. The shocked JKPDC players had no time to react as when referee blew the final whistle, the score line read 2-0 in favour of JK Bank team.
Adnan of JK Bank team was declared as footballer of the match for his best performance.
