J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) administrators retired Justice CK Prasad, former judge of the Supreme Court, and Justice Syed Rafat Alam, former Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh and Allahabad High Courts wrapped their maiden J&K visit by holding on-field interaction with the cricketers at GGM Science College ground in Jammu on Thursday.
Both the administrators who were appointed by J&K High Court to set JKCA house in order by holding free and fair elections in total spent four days in J&K with two in each province. The last day of their maiden visit proved most eventful as the duo met the cricketers, the real stakeholders. 
On Thursday the morning session went as usual like previous three days with administrators meeting various JKCA faction members and then they went straight to GGM Science college ground where cricketers from all over J&K are taking part in open selection trials for the selection of J&K T20 team.
Cricketers apprised the administrators about the problems faced by them during the turmoil that has engulfed J&K cricket from past many years.
“Administrators got firsthand account of the problems faced by cricketers as they directly interacted with them. They got the info that was missing while meeting with factions and various JKCA officials during last three days. They assured cricketers that they will try their best to set JK cricket in order in which care would be taken to address all their grievances and problems,” said JKCA official.
Earlier during its two day stay in Jammu, administrator’s alongwith JKCA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Syed Ashiqu Bukhari met several delegations from both the factions and they reportedly also met International cricketer of J&K Parvez Rasool.
The administrators after hearing them assured them of framing a committee of genuine and undisputed members to run the affairs of the association till the elections are held. According to officials they also said that they will make a 4-member committee to assist the CEO for smooth and successful functioning of the association, with two members from each region, adding that all the decisions will be made as per the Lodha Committee recommendations.
Before wrapping up their visit, administrators also appointed former J&K Ranji trophy player Ashwini Gupta as Chief Selector while as also gave role in selection to J&K Ranji trophy skipper Parvez Rasool. They will be in addition to the already existing selection committee.
