Srinagar: A one-day workshop on acupuncture treatment for sports injuries was successfully organized by the Chinese Acupuncture Center and Institute, Lasjan Srinagar in collaboration with the JK Mountain Biking Association and Swim N Survival Society-Kashmir.
The workshop, held at the Chinese Acupuncture Center and Institute, witnessed participation from over 40 sportspersons representing various sports disciplines.
Dr. Mohammad Arshaf, MD, PhD, and acupuncture specialist, inaugurated the session, highlighting the benefits of acupuncture in treating sports injuries and its role in enhancing recovery for athletes.
Riyaz Wani, President of the JK Mountain Biking Association, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants for their keen interest in alternative sports injury management techniques.
