The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced its Talent Hunt 2026 for U-23 Men’s cricketers, with trials scheduled to be held in both Jammu and Srinagar later in April.
According to the official notification, the Jammu leg of the trials will take place from April 8 to April 14, followed by the Srinagar leg from April 23 to April 29. The association stated that detailed instructions and venue specifics will be shared separately.
Registration deadline and process
Interested players must submit their applications along with required documents via email to under23mensjkca@outlook.com no later than April 2, 2026 (6:00 PM).
The registration form will be made available on the official JKCA website, and must be duly filled before submission.
Age eligibility criteria
The trials are open to players in the U-23 category, defined as:
- Players born on or after September 1, 2003 and on or before August 31, 2007
Documents required
Applicants are required to submit the following:
- Digitised Date of Birth certificate with QR code
- Updated PVC Aadhaar card or passport (issued no later than August 31, 2024)
- PAN card
- Class 10th and 12th marksheets
The association has warned that incomplete applications will not be considered.
Exemptions and eligibility clarity
JKCA clarified that players who were part of the U-23 Men’s squad (first fifteen) during the 2025–26 season and are still eligible for the same age group do not need to appear for the trials.
However, players who were part of the U-19 Men’s teams (first fifteen) in 2025–26 and have now moved into the U-23 age bracket will be required to undergo the trial process.
