New York: WWE’s creative direction for the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series has reportedly shifted following Seth Rollins’ shoulder injury, which will keep him out of action for approximately six months. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Logan Paul is now being positioned as Rollins’ replacement in one of the most anticipated matches of the year.
Original Plans Altered After Rollins’ Injury
Earlier reports revealed that WWE initially planned for CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, and either LA Knight or Jey Uso to face a team led by Seth Rollins, featuring Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory. However, Rollins’ surgery following his injury at WWE Crown Jewel Perth forced the creative team to adjust their storyline direction.
Logan Paul’s Shock Betrayal on WWE RAW
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, fans witnessed a shocking twist when Logan Paul came to the aid of CM Punk and Jey Uso, only to betray Punk moments later by hitting him with brass knuckles. The YouTuber-turned-WWE Superstar then handed the weapon to Paul Heyman, fueling speculation that he has now aligned himself with The Bloodline.
This betrayal not only ignited a new rivalry with Punk but also hinted at Paul’s deeper involvement in the ongoing Bloodline storyline, setting up an intriguing WarGames narrative.
Jacob Fatu’s Status Remains Uncertain
Meltzer also noted uncertainty regarding Jacob Fatu’s participation in the event, stating:
“It could be Jacob if he’s okay to wrestle, but he just had his surgery, so I don’t know if he’s going to be okay by the end of the month.”
If Fatu is unable to compete, WWE may be forced to make additional adjustments to the match lineup ahead of Survivor Series.
Survivor Series WarGames 2025: A Star-Studded Clash
