14-year Vaibhav Suryavanshi shatter multiple World Records with sensational IPL 2025 Century

Srinagar: The 14-year old, yes only 14 year old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed multiple World Records as he scored a sensational Century for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed the fastest-ever IPL century by Indian off just 35 balls, also becoming the youngest-ever player to hit a T20 century, as RR chased down a target of 210 against Gujarat Titans in just 15.5 overs. Suryavanshi demonstrated superhuman power-hitting to help RR break a five-match losing streak and stay alive in IPL 2025 playoffs hunt.
Suryavanshi also slammed the fastest fifty of IPL 2025, getting there in just 17 balls.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, at the age of 14 years and 32 days, has become the youngest-ever to score a century in T20 cricket. He has smashed the record of compatriot Vijay Zol, who scored a ton at the age of 18 years 118 days for Maharashtra against Mumbai in 2013.
After getting to his fifty in 17 balls, Vaibhav needed another 18 balls to complete a historic hundred on Monday.

Vaibhav smashed 11 sixes and seven boundaries in one of the most exhilarating batting performances in the IPL.

In one of the most thrilling onslaughts of Monday, Vaibhav took Afghanistan bowler Karim Janat to the cleaners, hitting three sixes and as many boundaries in a single over, collecting 30 runs from it.

Vaibhav was eventually dismissed for 101 off 38 balls by Prasidh Krishna in the 12th over. However, he had already inflicted significant damage, stitching together a 166-run partnership – the highest opening stand for Rajasthan in IPL history.
