History is Made: John Cena win record 17th WWE world title

Srinagar: Shocking the World, Superstar John Cena emerged as winner as he beat Cody Rhodes to become the new WWE Champion, the record 17th time, breaking the long standing record of legend Rick Flair.
The match was a entertaining from the very beginning. John Cena was slow off the blocks as Cody Rhodes dominated the contest. However, slowly and steadily, Cena came into his own, showing why he is referred to as the ‘GOAT’ by many. Travis Scott made his way to the ring once the referee was knocked down. Cody Rhodes hit Travis Scott with a Cody-cutter, but John Cena capitalised on the distraction.

Cody Rhodes had the chance to hit John Cena with the Championship belt, but the champion refused to do so. However, John Cena played dirty, first hitting Cody with a low blow and then hitting him with the Championship belt.
In the end, this proved to be enough, as Cena won the title for the record-breaking 17th time. John Cena has now won the WWE for the most number of times in history.

Earlier, Becky Lynch made a successful return to WWE as she teamed up with Lyra Valkyria to become the new Tag Team champions. Logan Paul shocked the world as he defeated AJ Styles at the grandest stage of them all.

Earlier, Randy Orton’s open challenge ended within minutes as the Viper defeated Joe Hendry. Dominik Mysterio did the unthinkable as he became the new Intercontinental Champion after beating Bron Breakker, Finn Balor and Penta in a fatal-four-way match. Dominik pinned his own Judgment Day partner, Finn Balor, for the win.

Drew McIntyre emerged victorious as he beat Damien Priest in a street fight match on Night 2 of WrestleMania 41. Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair put on an instant classic for the RAW Women’s Championship. The contest concluded with Iyo Sky retaining her title as she pinned Bianca Belair in the triple threat match featuring Rhea Ripley.
