Srinagar, April 2: The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced the Talent Hunt for Women cricketers for all age groups, with trials set to be conducted in Srinagar and Jammu for the 2025-26 season.
The trials will be held as per the following schedule:
- Kashmir Region – April 8-10 at SK Stadium, Srinagar
- Jammu Region – April 18-20 at SMVDU Sports Complex, Katra, and Hostel Ground, Jammu
Eligibility & Documents Required
Players from different age groups must carry the following documents for verification:
U-15 Girls (Born between 01-09-2010 and 31-08-2013)
- Digitised Date of Birth Certificate
- Updated Aadhar Card (PVC)
- Previous three years’ marksheets
- PAN Card (if applicable)
U-19 Girls (Born on or after 01-09-2006)
- Digitised Date of Birth Certificate
- Updated Aadhar Card (PVC)
- Previous three years’ marksheets
- PAN Card
U-23 Women (Born on or after 01-09-2002)
- Digitised Date of Birth Certificate
- Updated Aadhar Card (PVC)
- 10th & 12th Marksheets
- PAN Card
Senior Women
- Digitised Date of Birth Certificate
- Updated Aadhar Card (PVC)
- 10th & 12th Marksheets
- PAN Card
Trial Details
- The trials will start at 9:00 AM, and players must report by 8:45 AM.
- Each participant will receive a 350ml water bottle and two bananas as refreshments, with distilled water jars available at the venues.
- The selection committee, comprising Ms. Surabhi Dadeechi, Ms. Hinan Maqbool, and Mr. Vikrant Taggar, will oversee the trials at both venues.
- SG Club White youth balls will be used for all trials.
Exemptions
Players who were part of JKCA’s first fifteen squad for the 2024-25 season are exempted from the trials. However, those moving to a higher age group must undergo trials for their new category.
