Srinagar: UICC Junior’s emerged out as winners of the Kanwal Junior League, defeating MMCC Juniors in the final by 76 runs at Bijbehara, Anantnag on Wednesday.
After winning the toss, MMCC Junior’s opted to feild first.Batting first UICC posted a total of 240 Run’s in 35 overs. Key contribution came from Zeeshan Ali With 30 Run’s, Hurrair sofi with 68 Run’s, Basit Bilal with 45* Run’s. For MMCC Mir Zeerak took 2 wickets and other took 1 wicket, respectively
In response MMCC Junior’s were bundled on 164 Run’s by UICC bowlers. Despite valiant efforts from Ahsham ahmad (32), Mujeeb Ul Haq (26), Madhan Mushtaq (24). They couldn’t chase down the target.
