Baramulla Boy Musharaf wins Eurasian Professional Sanda league in Georgia

Srinagar: The highly talented Wushu Martial art player from Baramulla district of Kashmir, Musharaf Qayoom has emerged winner in the Eurasian Professional Sanda league held in the Batumi International Wushu championship atn Georigia from 17th to 23rd October 2024.

In the title fight Musharaf defeated former champion from Armania in 3 straight rounds.
Musharaf Qayoom has recently participated in the senior division, earlier he has number of medals in the Junior National Wushu championship.
Earlier for winning gold medal in the Batumi International Wushu championship, Musharaf was awarded Rs 40000 as Cash Prize and on the basis of the same he was selected for the Eurasian Professional Sanda league, where he defeated former champion from Armania and was awarded with Rs 50,000 as Cash prize and Belt.

The Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul has congratulated Musharaf for the wonderful performance at Georgia and wished him all the very best for the future events.
The Wushu Association of J&K office Bearers Vijay Saraf, Bhavneet congratulated him for making the country n the UT J&K proud. Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) also congratulated him for the wonderful performance and wished him all the very best for the forthcoming World wiushu championship scheduled to be held in Brazil in the month of September 2025.
