Srinagar, September 24: The 9th J&K UT Pencak Silat Championship 2024 came to a thrilling conclusion today at the Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, Srinagar. The four-day event, organized by the J&K Pencak Silat Association under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council, witnessed intense competition among over 1250 athletes in both genders from across from 18 Districts of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Tariq General Secretary of Indian Pencak Silat Federation congratulated the winners, participants, and organizers, saying, “The Pencak Silat Association and Indian Pencak Silat Federation along with J&K Sports Council is proud to provide platforms like this championship to nurture local talent. We will continue to support and promote Pencak Silat martial arts in the region.”
