Srinagar: Pakistan star batter duo of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have selected their new cricket bats for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in USA and West Indies.
As per reports, Babar and Rizwan went to Sussex from Leeds to visit Gray-Nicolls bat factory. The reports said that Babar And Rizwan opted for the aggressive stroke-play bearing in mind the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan team is currently in England ahead of their four-match T20I series against the home side.
Earlier today it was reported that Pakistan could make three changes to their playing XI for the first T20I against England on May 22 in Leeds.
Fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, along with top-order batter Usman Khan, are likely to be included in the lineup. Opener Saim Ayub and pacer Hasan Ali, who were part of the third T20I against Ireland in Dublin recently, could be dropped.
Haris and Usman didn’t feature in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, which Pakistan won 2-1.
