Srinagar: J&K again failed to win the match after reaching close to the target. After winning the toss, J&K opted to bowl first on a seamy track of Dharamshala.
Umer Nazir again delivered with ball and took 3 crucial wickets by conceding only 26 runs in 3.4 fours. Star All-arounders Abid Nabi and Ram Dayal shared two wickets each. Services finished on a low score of 146 for all in 19.4 overs.
J&K in reply lost two quick wickets on score of 0, then Captain Ian Dev and talented Khujaria lead the innings but soon Ian Dev lost his cool and was caught on 22 of 19 balls. Manhas again failed to deliver, scored just 4 runs.
Soon debutant Manzoor Pandav changed the whole scenario of game by scoring quick 27 runs of 12 balls supported Khujaria who almost won it for J&K by scoring crucial 46 runs.
J&K were close to target with 13 needed in last over but failed to achieve target and fell short of 5 runs.
