Pakistan team present Christmas gifts to Australian Cricketers

Srinagar: A day before start of a second Test, visitors, Pakistan team presented surprise Christmas gifts to Australia cricketers during a training session at Melbourne.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood, along with former skipper Babar Azam and few members of the team management, visited the Australian team during their indoor practice session at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with gifts and candies for everyone.

The cricketers interacted with each other and gave out lollipops for all the kids present.

“That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us,” Australia captain Pat Cummins said in appreciation.

Meanwhile, Australia named an unchanged XI on Monday for the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as they look to seal the series against Pakistan, who dropped veteran wicketkeeper-batter Sarfaraz Ahmed.
