Srinagar: Former Australia batter Simon Katich has made a huge claim by saying Pakistan opener Abdullah Shafique is going to be better player than Babar Azam.
Simon Katich made this prediction during day two of the ongoing Perth Test between Australia and Pakistan.
“He’s a good young player, he’s had a good start to his Test career. What I like about him the most is that he’s aggressive against spin. We have already seen him today hit Nathan Lyon straight over his head, so I like the look of him,” Simon Katich said.
“I think he’s going to be a better player than Babar Azam,” he added.
On Day 2 of the Test, Pakistan got Australia all out for 487 run total in first inning. At the end of day 2, Pakistan were 132/2 in their first innings.
