Parvez Rasool scores another fighting Century in Sri Lanka

Srinagar: J&K’s senior cricketer Parvez Rasool is unstoppable in Sri Lanka’s Major League Tournament, scoring another century on Saturday for his club Badruleya Sports Club (BSC) vs Tamil Union on Day 2 of the match at Group B, Colombo.

Resuming from overnight score of 72 runs, Parve Rasool powered BSC to 327 run total. Parvez Rasool scored 124 run knock from 144 balls. During his knock Parvez Rasool slammed 11 boundaries and three sixes.
Alyana Siriwardhana with 44 and Alankara Asanka Silva with 43 were other contributors for the team.

In reply at the end of second days play, Tamil Union were 152 for 3. They were still trailing by 175 run margin. Parvez Rasool shined with the ball as well, claiming all three wickets of Tamil Union.

Parvez who was overlooked by JKCA , has been in phenomenal form in the tournament. It is 16th first class century for Parvez Rasool.
