Srinagar: It was historic day on Tuesday in the inaugural MLC T20 USA as South African star Heinrich Klaasen scored first century of the league.
In the match Seattle Orcas registered 2 wicket win against MI New York at Church Street Park, Morrisville.
Heinrich Klaasen scored unbeaten knock of 110 runs off 44 balls to guide the Orcas to victory in a high-scoring match.
The highlight of Heinrich Klaasen inning was taking 24 runs against Afghanistan star spinner Rashid Khan including three sixes.
In the 16th over of the chase, Klaasen hit Rashid for three sixes, and amassed a total of 24 runs.
Klaasen remained unbeaten with 110 runs off 44 balls as he single-handedly led the Orcas to victory. Trent Boult bowled superbly and picked up four wickets for MI New York, while Rashid Khan picked up two wickets. David Wiese and Nosthush Kenjige chipped in with one wicket each.
