‘For safety, well-being of all players, spectators matches at Polo Ground cancelled’ 

Srinagar: J&K Football Association (JKFA) has cancelled the Tuesday matches of 19th J&K Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament at Polo Ground due to water logging.

“Due to the persistent heavy rains and subsequent waterlogging in Polo Ground Srinagar, we regret to inform you that there will be a slight change in the fixture of the 19th J&K Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament for tomorrow,” JKFA statement said.

“For the safety and well-being of all players and spectators, there will be no matches played in Polo Ground today . However, we are pleased to announce the new fixture for today at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar,” statement said.
