Mohammad Amir picks his current top 3 batters, bowlers

Srinagar: Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir had named his current Top three batters and bowlers in the World of Cricket.

Taking another cheeky dig at Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir named Azam top three batters apart from T20’s.

Amir said this during a Q&A session on his YouTube channel on Sunday.

“Virat [Kohli], Babar is my favourite apart from T20s. He is my favourite in Tests and ODIs. Finally, Shubman Gill, as I feel he will be the next big thing for India in future, if he maintain his current form,” Amir said.

When it comes to bowlers, Amir named New Zealand’s Trent Boult as his number one pick.

“[Trent] Boult, he is number one for me, then Naseem Shah. These are bowlers, who I feel are complete bowlers and can play all formats. And third would be Mitchell Starc,” he added.

Amir also revealed that his favorite coach is Mickey Arthur.

Amir said that Pakistan would be among the top four teams in the upcoming 2023 World Cup in India.

“Pakistan will be in top four and you can’t write them off in Asian conditions,” he said.
