Srinagar: In an apparent indirect dig at Afghanistan cricketer Naveen Ul Haq, former India pacer Irfan Pathan has said that Virat Kohli deserves respect.
The comment made by Irfan Pathan is important in the context of highly publicized spat between Virat Kohli with Gautam Gambhir and Naveen ul Haq. The Afghanistan has since been repeatedly taking indirect dig at Kohli on social media and in return has received lot of trolling from Kohli fans.
“Virat Kohli is a very big and great player. He deserves all the respect. If you want to show aggression with him, then show it on the field. Off the field, give him the respect which he deserves. And that should not be forgotten by any player or youngsters,” Irfan Pathan recently wrote.
