Srinagar: Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf who has got major push in the recent ICC T20 bowling rankings, is also close to breaking a big T20I bowling record in upcoming two matches against New Zealand.
Haris Rauf has a chance to claim record from former West Indies’ captain, Jason Holder, in the list of bowlers with the most wickets in a five-match T20I series.
Jason had claimed a record 15 wickets in a five-match T20I series against England in 2021.
Haris has already claimed 10 wickets in three matches and needs to take six more to break Holder’s record.
The ongoing five-game series between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand stand at 2-1 currently.
