Srinagar: Pakistan star opener and Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan scored his maiden PSL century against Karachi Kings on Wednesday.

Rizwan scored century off 60 balls, and was at his merciless after completing his fifty. The star batter reached fifty in 42 balls and then took only 18 balls to complete his century. It is the fastest 50 to 100 acceleration by any Pakistani batter in PSL history.

The wicketkeeper-batsman finished with an unbeaten 110-run knock from 64 balls, to help his team reach 196-2 in 20 overs.

Rizwan has now has six fifties and a century under his belt in his last 10 T20 innings.

This is Rizwan’s second century in T20 cricket and is also the second ton in this season’s PSL.

Rizwan is currently the highest run-scorer in this season with 329 runs at an average of 109.66 and a strike rate of 144.
