Srinagar : After having missed Asia Cup 2022 and England T20I series with the injury, Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is all set to make a grand comeback for Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2022.
Pakistan are currently playing three match T20I series.
Though Shaheen is also a part of the squad but is unlikely to play any part in the series and is likely to make his comeback in T20 World Cup.
On Thursday the star left arm pacer issued a warning to Pakistan’s T20 World Cup opponents with a cryptic four-word tweet.
The left-arm fast bowler posted a photo of himself on Twitter before the match against Bangladesh and captioned it “Calm before the storm.”
With the cryptic tweet, the 22-year old has made his intentions clear that he would be giving his absolute best in the upcoming matches for Pakistan.
Pakistan has included the likes of fast bowlers Shaheen, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain in its squad for the marquee tournament.
However, Pakistan is facing big worries with batting woes in the middle order ahead of the World Cup. They would be looking to sort out their grey areas in the tri-series in New Zealand.
