HPL: Young Blood Naidkhai, Rambirgrah register easy wins to enter next round

In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, two matches were played in the day,

In the first match, Young Blood Naidkhai defeated Meeran CC Batwina by a margin of 20 runs to enter next phase of the tournament.

Batting first, Naidkhai posted a total of 119/8 in alloted 18 overs. Junaid scored 32 while as Tanveer added unbeaten 16 runs to his name. Irshad and Arshid took 2 wickets each for Batwina.

In reply, Batwina failed to chase down the target and were bundled out on mere 99 runs in 15.2 overs. Arshid was the top scorer with 34 runs his name. Aabid took 3 while as Tanveer took 2 wickets for Naidkhai.

Tanveer was declared as player of the match for his all-round performance.

In the second match, Rambirgrah CC defeated NCC Nehalpora in a low-scoring contest by 9 wickets.

Batting first, Nehalpora were restricted to only 80/10 in 17.1 overs. Mohd Aasif was the highest scorer with 21 runs to his name. Bhat Aasif and Yasir Ahmad grabbed 3 wickets each for Rambirgrah.

In response, It was a cake-walk for Rambirgrah CC as they chased down the target easily in 8.2 overs losing only 1 wicket (85/1). Irfan played a blistering knock of 36 runs for his team.

Bhat Aasif was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
