Jammu and Kashmir’s first international cricketer Parvez Rasool on Monday scored an excellent knock of 149* runs while another senior pro Adil Reshi also struck 62 runs in the ongoing JKCA Senior Multi-Day tourney at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium.
In the two-day encounter, Parvez Rasool-led Team B5 won the toss and elected to bat first against Mohammed Mudhasir’s Team B3.
Parvez led from the front and scored a fine-looking unbeaten 149 runs. The opening batter Adil Reshi also made 62. The duo ensured Team B5 posts a good total of 305 runs in the first innings.
For Team B3, Taizeem Tak, Mohammed Mudhasir and Touqeer Khan picked two wickets each.
The second day’s play will resume tomorrow.
