Srinagar, March 15: Former J&K skipper Parvez Rasool is all-set to play for Sheikh Jamal team in the Dhaka Premier Divison Cricket League (DPDCL)– a 50-over tournament held annually in Bangladesh.

Parvez has played in this tournament before as well and was quite successful with both bat and ball in a few editions. He was part of teams like Gazi Group of Cricketers, Legends of Rupganj, etc in the past.

Parvez alongside six other Indian players including Hanuman Vihari, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Baba Aparajith, Ashok Menaria, Chirag Jani and Gurinder Singh will be the part of the tournament this time around. All these players weren’t able to get an IPL contract in the recently-held auction.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez has also signed up for the tournament.

Sheikh Jamal will face Khelangar in the first match tomorrow (March 16).
