Srinagar, January 18: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) might now hold the postponed Ranji Trophy from second or third week of February, reports suggested on Tuesday.

The restarting process will begin with Ranji Trophy while other remaining domestic tournaments including Col CK Nayudu Trophy (U-25) and Senior Women T20 tourney will follow.

Ranji Trophy, which was earlier scheduled for January 13, was postponed on January 04 due to prevailing Covid-19 condition in India. However, now as it is expected that the situation will improve in February, BCCI is thinking to conduct these tournaments after February 15.

The top-brass BCCI officials will meet next week to finalise the dates, a report in mid-day revealed.
