Srinagar, December 8: Defending champions Real Kashmir FC have cruised their way into the semifinal of the 124th IFA Shield football tournament.
In the quaterfinal played on Wednesday, December 8, Real Kashmir FC beat Kolkatta giants Mohammedan Sporting by 1-0 goals at Kalyani Stadium Kolkatta. It was extra time strike from Lalchhawn Kima thay seperated the two sides.
In the allotted time both teams were unable to score goal. The 98th minute strike from Kima made it sure that Real Kashmir FC keeps its hopes of retaining the Shield alive.
Lalchhawn Kima was awarded man of the match.
