Srinagar, November 18: The first MTB cycling competition organized by Spring Buds Educational Trust Ompora was held on Thursday, November 18.
In the event 120 participants participated in Under 10 and under 14 categories.
Tasaduk Hussain Director School Education was the chief guest at this occasion.
SSP Budgam Tahir Hussain , Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Nasir Ahmad , GN War President Private School Association ,Deputy Superintendent Of Police Budgam Nayeem Ahmad ,DEPO Budgam Syed Gulzar Ahmad,Mohd Shafi Qurashi Chairman Spring Buds Educational Institute Ompora ,teachers ,students and other senior citizens were amoung other guests present.
The Director School Education Kashmir applauded the work of spring buds educational institute Ompora and advised them to organize more such events in future.
The winners were awarded with MTB Cycles by the guests. The list of first three [position holders in each category are as under:
In Under 10 category: Arfat Bashir, Younis Ahmad and Ikhlaq Hussain bagged first three positions respectively.
In Under-14 category, Zehran Lateef, Malik Zehran and Mohd Usmaan bagged first three positions respectively.
In addition to this 20 consolation awards were distributed among the meritorious participants.
