Srinagar, November 17: J&K senior football team for the Santosh Trophy National football championship was flagged off from GGM Science College ground Jammu on Wednesday, November 17.

The team was flagged off by Alok Kumar Principal Secretary to Govt. Youth Services.

Speaking on the occasion Alok Kumar said that Govt. is concerned about providing better facilities to the players enabling them bring laurels for J&K Ut.

The Govt. has created better infrastructure facilities for the Youth to participate in different Games.

The Principal Secretary was introduced to the players who had to participate in the forth coming Santosh Trophy. The Women National Football Team who are undergoing Coaching Camp at Jammu at present for participation in the Sr. National Women’s Championship to be held at Kerala were also introduced to the Chief Guest.

The flag off ceremony was also attended by Z.A Thakur, President JKFA Ashok Singh DSO Jammu, JKFA and Sports Council officials.
