Srinagar, September 21: Ahmad Banday scored unbeaten 80 runs off 47 balls while left-arm spinner, Tawqeer, picked a fifer in one of the trial matches at SK Stadium, Srinagar on Tuesday.
Batting first, Banday led side made a huge total of 191 runs. Apart from Banday, Usman Pandit also smashed 35-ball 56 runs. Banday was called back without getting dismissed.
In reply, Adil Reshi’s XI was bundled out for meagre 135 runs. Nasir Lone and Shabir Nengroo scored in mid-thirties.
For bowling side, Tawqeer picked a five-wicket-haul while Umar Nazir also returned with a couple of wickets to his name.
