Pattan, 28 August : Syed Sagar contributed with both bat and ball to help Master XI Ompora beat Friends XI Tangmarg as they booked place in semi-final of the 17th SNW Memorial cricket tournament being okayed at SNW Chanderhama ground Pattan on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
It was last quaterfinal of the tournament.
Friends XI Tangmarg won the toss elected bat first. They were able to score only 122 runs. Ashraf with 24 runs was top scorer for them while as Kaysir and Zubair Malik contributed with 21 runs each. Tauseef picked four wickets for Ompora while as Syed Sagar took three.
Master XI Ompora chased down target with any major trouble. They achieved target in 15.5 overs for the loss five wickets .
Aqib Khan played brilliantly for them scoring 51 run knock while as Aijaz Butt scored 34 runs. Gulzar Ahmed Wani took two wickets for Tangmarg.
Masters XI Ompora won by five wickets. Syed Sagar was declared man of the match for scoring 9 runs and taking 3wickets.
