Khaleef receiving man of the match award

Pattan, August 25: Mariya Cricket Club Goushbugh Wednesday defeated Sunshine Budgam to make it to semi-finals of 17th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy, thanks to a fiery bowling spell by Khaleef.

Earlier, batting first, Mariya CC made paltry 120 runs. Muneer was the top-scorer with 80 to his name. For bowling side, Sajad took three while Mudasir scalped two wickets.

In reply, Sushine Budgam batsmen were constantly troubled by Mariya CC bowlers. They fought hard, however, fell short by 13 runs at the end. Tajamul Baba made 40 and Zahid Dar 28 for them.
