Pattan, August 14: Kashmir Knights Sozeith and WCC Lolipora Saturday posted victories in the ongoing 17th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy at Chanderhama, here.
In match one, Kashmir Knights posted a mammoth total of 213 runs on board, thanks to a brilliant knock of 73 by Lateef.
In reply, FCC Buchpora could only make 169, rewarding Kashmir Knights a 44-run win. Adil Bangroo (49) was the highest run-getter while Adil and Showkat sclaped 2 wickets each. Lateef, for his knock, won man of the match award.
In second game, WCC Lolipora made 150 runs after opting to bat first. Khalid (30) and Arshid (24) were the top run-scorers.
Affarwat XI fought hard, however, fell short by 3 runs at the end. Abid made 29 while Mehraj struck 24 runs in the chase. For Lolipora, Mir Aijaz and Danish picked 3 wickets each.
Danish, for his top bowling, was named man of the match.
