Baramulla, August 11: WCCS Budgam Wednesday pipped Star Achievers Eidgah in a see-saw encounter in the ongoing 17th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy at Chanderhama, here.
Batting first, Eidgah posted a moderate total of 149 runs. Ishfaq Taploo played an astonishing knock of 89 runs while Mehraj Ahmad and Aaqib Khan picked three wickets each.
In reply, Budgam fought hard and finally won the game in 19th over with two wickets in hand. Aaqib Khan made good-looking 54 runs while Muneer also struck 33 runs. For bowling side, Kamil picked 4 wickets while Gulzar returned with a three-for.
Aaqib Khan for his all-round performance won the man of the match award.
