Baramulla, August 08: KCC Delina defeated Eleven Brothers while Kashmir Gymkhana got better of Zaingeer Reds in the two matches played on Sunday in the ongoing 17th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy at Chanderhama.

In game one, cameos by Aijaz Alliae (38) and Amjad Ali (33) helped Delina post a total of 153 runs. Mukhtar and Imran Haroon picked two wickets each.

In reply, Brothers Eleven reached nowhere near the target, rewarding Delhi a 39-run win. Ariq Bahsir topped the batting charts with 39 runs while Muzamil Mir picked 3 wickets.

Aijaz, for his 38 runs and 2 wickets, won man of the match award.

In afternoon match, Farooq fired a stunning knock of 86 runs to pilot Kashmir Gymkhana to a 7-wicket win.

Earlier, batting first, Zaingeer Reds posted a huge total of 196 runs, thanks to Javed Khan’s fifty.

Kashmir Gymkhana, despite the scorecard pressure, played splendidly. They chased down the total in 18.2 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Farooq stole the show with 86 runs, earning him the man of the match award.
