Baramulla, August 05: A terrific spell of bowling by Abdul Raqeeb Thursday led Shaheen Sports Chanderhama to an easy win over Ashraf CC Sopore in the Valley Cup at Panzipora.
Batting first, Ashraf CC was bundled out on meagre 90 runs, thanks to the Raqeeb’s 5-wicket-haul.
Shaheen Sports didn’t find any trouble in chasing down this small target. They crossed the line in 12.2 overs with Mudasir (43) and Imran Bhat (30) topping the batting chart.
Abdul Raqeeb, for his brilliant performance, was named man of the match.
