
Srinagar , May 4: After Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 was suspended, star South African pacer Dale Steyn has said that COVID doesn’t care and has no favourite while wishing speedy recovery to to those affected.
As multiple number of COVID-19 Postive cases surfaced within IPL bubble , BCCI and IPL Governing body was left with no option but to suspend league .
On Tuesday two more cases had susrfaced within teams with Wridhhiman Saha (of Sunrisers Hyderabad) and Amit Mishra (of Delhi Capitals) testing positive for Covid-19.
Taking to his Twitter handle Steyn wished a speedy recovery for those who were infected and a safe return for all the cricketers who were a part of IPL 2021.
“Covid don’t care. It has no favorites. Get well to those sick and hopefully everyone else will get home safe and in good health,” Steyn tweeted.
Steyn also took a dig at Twitter handle who hdd made fun of him when Pakistan Super League was postponed two months back due to COVID.
Steyn simply said Hi, on the same Tweet and got lot of reactions from Twitter users who termed it Karma.
