Srinagar, April 11: J&K Football Association (JKFA) on Saturday met Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju who was in Kashmir two day visit.
“A delegation of J&K Football Association comprising of President JKFA, ZA Thakur, General Secretary JKFA Prof. B.A Shah, Iftikhar Lone, Vice President JKFA, Fayaz Sofi, DFA Srinagar President called on Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State, (IC for Youth Affairs & Sports) on April 10,” JKFA statement said.
“The Delegation appraised Minister about the promotion and development of the game of football in J&K UT. The Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them full support of the Govt for the development of the game in the UT from grassroots,” statement said.
