Srinagar, December 7: Sopore based football side Arco FC beat Srinagar based side Downtown Heroes FC in the opening match of the Premier League J&K at Synthetic Turf TRC ground here on Monday.
Playing the opening match of the Premier League tournament organized by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with J&K Football Association, Arco FC shocked Downtown Heroes FC by 1-0 goals.
In the match Arco FC were able to score goal in first half and maintained that lead throughout.
After getting lead Arco defense line were able thwart the attacks launches by the Downtown Heroes FC.
Trying desperately to score equaliser Downtown Heroes FC failed to convert the chances that came their way.
