Srinagar, Sept 28: In the ongoing Noor Din Memorial T20 Palhallan Spartan Strikers defeated Magraypora Cricket Club by four wickets on Monday.
Earlier Magraypora Cricket Club won the toss and decided to bat first. Magraypora CC were unable to post a big total on board scoring 116 for the loss of all wickets in allotted 18 overs. Rameez Mir took 4 wickets while as Showket Dar and Showkat took 2 wickets each for Spartan Strikers.
In reply Spartan Strikers chased the said target of 116/6 in 15.5 overs. Spartan Strikers lost both the openers on the score of 31. It was Rayees who thrashed MCC bowlers all over scoring 56 runs while as Mohsin scored 22runs & Nasir contributed with 15 runs. Rayees was adjudged man of the match for his quick half century.
